Let us prepare our hearts to worship the Lord this Sunday.

Corporate Confession of sin

Below is the Confession that we will be saying together corporately, as a church body. Please read it and pray through it to prepare your heart for worship this Sunday.

Our Father in Heaven, we come confessing our misplaced affections. Our hearts love things that we ought not to love. Sometimes, our hearts long for things you hate. We repent, Father, and ask your forgiveness. We also make idols even of the good gifts you have given to us. We set our affections on the gift rather than you, the gift giver. Our hearts are often cold when we come to worship you. We lack much thankfulness though you have been incredibly generous to us not only in material blessing, but also you have given us friendships and Christian family. But most of all you have given us your own son to pay the penalty for our sins. We lack the gratitude we ought to have for this infinitely valuable gift. Please forgive our ungrateful hearts and transforms us. Give us joy to sing from hearts full of thankfulness. We pray in Christ name. Amen.

Songs

Our songs for this Sunday’s worship:

All Creatures of our God and King
Great is Thy Faithfulness
How Deep the Fathers Love for Us
We Give Thanks (Psalm 107)

Sermon

Sermon Series: Psalms for the Soul

This Week's Sermon Passage

Psalm 100
1 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
