Please read the Corporate Confession of Sin that we will be reading together this Sunday:

“Our Father in Heaven, we are grateful that you gave us your precious Word. You have revealed so much about yourself, us, the world, and redemptive history. Yet, we must confess, we so often neglect your Word. We often do not treasure it as we ought. We do not take the time to be good students of it and do not do the hard work to understand it as we should. We often just believe what we are told without searching the Scriptures ourselves. We ask your forgiveness, Father, for our laziness. We also ask forgiveness for prioritizing reading so many other things before your Word. We genuinely desire to use the minds you have given us to examine the Scriptures diligently. Please help us by the power of your Holy Spirit that you have given to us.”
